Theology and Divinity students celebrate completion of studies
Young students from around the world have just graduated from Edinburgh University’s New College on 7th of July.
The subjects in which they have graduated vary from ‘Theological Studies’ to ‘Religion and Literature’, and will enable them to pursue careers either in ministry or academia. One student, for instance, talked about using her degree in the study of ethnic violence.
Graduates spoke about the strong sense of community in the College, with friendship and even family being used to describe it. Also popular was its wide range of courses: the College offers many combinations including Philosophy and Ethics, Reformation History, Church History or Biblical Languages.
New College was founded back in 1583 and offers full under-and-post graduate programs. If you want to know more, you can view their website here: https://www.ed.ac.uk/divinity
