‘Called and Gifted’ is aimed to help parishoners identify how they can individually serve God
Local Christians struggling to discern their vocation in life can now sign up for a new workshop specifically aimed to help Christian do just that.
St Andrew’s and Edinburgh will be offering the one-day course at the Gillis Centre, Edinburgh. The introduction the course states “This workshop will help you identify your charisms (spiritual gifts) and begin to discern God’s call through the Called and Gifted Workshop.”
In terms of course content, attendees will learn the 5 steps to discerning their calling in life, how those charisms can be seen in the world and help to spread the Good News, as well as how they can affect parish life. The course draws on ancient Church teaching on the Holy Spirit and how to identify His signs and marks.
The course will run on the 20 th of May, starting at 9am until 3.30pm. The cost is £25 including all materials, online learning and lunch.
