Pioneering pastor and best selling author Timothy Keller dies aged 72
Rev. Timothy Keller. The pioneering pastor and best selling author of 28 books covering a vast array of subjects on Christianity, passed away on the 19th of May.
Rev. Timothy Keller was undergoing treatment for Pancreatic cancer and died after a three year battle. He leaves behind his wife, three married sons and 7 grandchildren.
Timothy Keller and wife Kathy were founders of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. A church that was planted from scratch in 1989 and by the time he stepped down from his role in 2017, had grown to over 5000 people attending through four services in the week. Many of whome came to faith in the church.
